Multiple large crypto whales have collectively un-staked nearly one million HYPE tokens, entering the seven-day waiting period.

According to TradingBeats monitoring, multiple large crypto addresses have initiated concentrated HYPE unstaking operations today. Excluding the Kinetiq staking management address, five addresses collectively unstaked approximately 983,600 HYPE, valued at around $90.44 million. The breakdown is as follows: 0x8b...d914 initiated unstaking of 391,800 HYPE (~$35.99 million); 0x0a...b0ad unstaked 209,600 HYPE (~$19.24 million); 0x15...d3fd unstaked 146,400 HYPE (~$13.46 million); 0x55...c32a unstaked 135,700 HYPE (~$12.46 million); and 0xd2...8321 completed unstaking of 100,100 HYPE across six transactions (~$9.29 million). Notably, these operations are only "initiated unstaking" and do not mean the HYPE is available for trading. Hyperliquid’s native staking process requires users to first unstake from validators, then transfer funds from Staking Balance to Spot Balance, with a seven-day waiting period before HYPE becomes tradable. As a result, this batch of HYPE cannot currently be sold, transferred, or restaked. The five verifiable addresses initiated the operations around 12:33 on September 24, and are expected to unlock at the same time on October 1.
