According to a Reuters report, crypto-friendly bank Revolut has reached a private valuation of $115 billion, making it Europe’s highest-valued startup, surpassing UK’s Barclays and France’s Société Générale. The company currently has 80 million customers, close to JPMorgan Chase’s 84 million and higher than HSBC’s 41 million. Revolut is applying for additional market licenses to expand its operations from Mexico to regions including Australia. In 2025, Revolut posted a pre-tax profit of ￡1.7 billion, lower than Barclays’ ￡9 billion but still maintaining rapid growth. Its revenue comes from multiple products such as payments, foreign exchange, and card subscriptions, rather than relying primarily on loans. As of the end of 2025, Revolut’s loan volume stood at only ￡2.2 billion, with a loan-to-deposit ratio of 6%—significantly lower than HSBC’s 55% and Société Générale’s 86%. Revolut still faces challenges including low revenue per customer, limited lending scale, and insufficient usage of its core accounts. In the U.S. market, the company holds a temporary license but will face fiercer competition. Additionally, Revolut was previously fined in Lithuania for anti-money laundering deficiencies, and in September, it mistakenly sent some customer data to hackers impersonating government investigators.

Beating AI News Flash: Figure AI founder Brett Adcock announced that his personal AI assistant Hark will officially launch this week. The first 100,000 registered users will receive a free paid plan. Hark is designed to remember users long-term and complete tasks directly on their behalf. Its previously disclosed core capability is the web operation agent Handoff. Each time a task is assigned, Handoff launches an isolated virtual computer environment, including a browser, file system, and terminal. It can independently handle tasks like ordering food, shopping, booking flights and restaurants, as well as sourcing candidates on LinkedIn, sending messages, and scheduling interviews. Handoff scored 97.7% in the public Online-Mind2Web human evaluation, currently ranking first, with second-place Yutori Navigator scoring 97.3%. Hark also conducted two additional web operation tests on its own. Combining results from all three tests, Hark claims Handoff outperforms GPT-5.4 by an average of 8 points and Opus 4.8 by 2 points. However, the latter two tests were conducted by Hark using its own evaluation environment, not third-party independent assessments. Hark previously closed a $700 million Series A funding round, with a post-money valuation of $6 billion, with investors including NVIDIA, AMD Ventures, Intel Capital, and Qualcomm Ventures. Previously, Hark’s public showcases were primarily research previews and official demos; this launch marks its official opening to general users.

Beating AI News Flash: OpenAI Product and Platform Head Thibault Sottiaux announced that over the next 28 days, Codex and ChatGPT Work will either roll out an update delivering "clear improvements for most users" or conduct a full usage quota reset each day. The day prior, Sottiaux noted the team had "locked in their goals". User feedback is clear: users want the products to be simpler. Moving forward, the team will only focus on four priorities: simplifying the product, boosting efficiency to expand users’ available usage, developing breakthrough features, and launching new models. The announcement comes as Codex faces intensifying external competition. Following Anthropic’s release of Opus 5.5, comparisons between Claude Code and Codex have grown significantly in the community, with discussions centered on model capabilities, speed, and subscription quotas.

Renowned trader Doctor Profit says his market outlook remains unchanged from last week, and is currently placing multiple BTC short orders across the $86,500–$89,500 range (spanning roughly 3.5% of BTC’s price) to gradually build a complete swing short position via different entry points. He provided an example: if planning to allocate $10,000, one could place a $2,000 order at each of the five price levels: $86,500, $87,000, $88,000, $88,500, and $89,500. If all five orders are filled, the total position will amount to $10,000, with an average entry price of approximately $87,887. Doctor Profit adds that his short positions only use 2x leverage, and he is holding spot positions simultaneously. Batch order placement avoids the need to pinpoint the exact top or commit all capital to a single price level; he views the aforementioned range as a distribution phase, hence building his short position gradually within this zone.
