At the OKX NOW Summit in Singapore, OKX has officially launched its standalone application OKX Money, which provides financial services to users including non-crypto natives across four core scenarios: transfers, spending, savings, and asset custody. Built on X Layer, the app adopts self-custodial smart accounts, supports 24/7 digital asset transfers, and is now available in over 30 countries. OKX Money also offers the Aave-backed Pay Boost feature to European users, allowing them to earn yields while retaining the flexibility to spend their funds. Going forward, OKX Money will integrate AI to formulate investment strategies based on user needs and execute small transactions within the app upon user authorization.

According to Defimon Alerts monitoring, a new address funded by Tornado Cash withdrew 200 WETH from a dormant MakerDAO ETH-A liquidation bot proxy on October 6, causing an approximate loss of $538,000. This upgradeable proxy won four ETH-A liquidation auctions in 2020 (Nos. 1457 to 1460, 50 WETH each) but failed to call the deal() function, leaving collateral locked in the Flipper contract. The implementation contract’s withdrawal function was not protected by ds-auth, enabling any caller to trigger the exploit: first call deal() on the old auctions, then transfer collateral to a keeper via Vat.flux, and finally use GemJoin.exit to send 200 WETH to the caller’s specified address and unwrap it into ETH. MakerDAO’s core contracts functioned as designed; the vulnerability resided in the third-party bot’s permissionless exit function.

According to analyst alicharts, Bitcoin has established a major support zone between $83,300 and $84,600. URPD data shows that 1.59 million BTC have been traded within this range, providing a defendable level for buyers. On the other hand, Bitcoin whales have increased their holdings by 14,335 BTC since October 1, worth approximately $1.22 billion. alicharts believes that if Bitcoin can hold the support level and break above $86,700, there will be no major selling pressure until around $105,000.

According to The Block, tokenized money fund issuer Spiko announced the completion of a $90 million Series B financing round led by venture capital firm NEA. Following this round, Spiko’s total funding has reached $120 million. Currently, the firm’s assets under management (AUM) stand at $2.7 billion, with operations covering more than 25 jurisdictions. Spiko plans to use the proceeds from this financing round to launch new fund products, expand into additional markets, and scale its team.

Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said today (Oct 6) that on the evening of Oct 5 local time, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Najran International Airport were attacked by Yemen's Houthi forces, leaving 3 people injured and limited material damage. According to a video statement released by a Houthi spokesperson on the same evening, the group launched three rounds of strikes against Saudi Arabia that day, including targeting King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
