Bitcoin briefly dropped below $82,300, as Iranian tensions lifted oil prices above $102, putting pressure on market risk appetite.

Bitcoin briefly dipped below $82,300, rebounding to around the $82,500 level with a 1.94% 24-hour decline that broke below the recent key support of $83,000. FxPro previously noted that if BTC breaks decisively below $83,000, sellers could regain market control, potentially pushing prices quickly toward the $80,000 mark. The latest decline coincided with rising macro risks. Reports indicate the White House has asked the Pentagon to draft a military strike plan against Iran, a development that lifted Brent crude by roughly 2% to retake the $102 per barrel level. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield climbed to 5.31%, near its highest since 2002, further weighing on risk assets. Major cryptocurrencies were broadly lower: XRP fell nearly 4% to $1.42, Dogecoin (DOGE) dropped around 3%, Ethereum (ETH) declined about 3% to $2,570, while HYPE and Solana (SOL) both fell over 2%. On the prior day, roughly $550 million in crypto leveraged positions were liquidated, the majority of which were long positions. Bitcoin has fallen for two consecutive trading days recently, both times alongside rising oil prices and U.S. Treasury yields. If Brent crude falls back below $100, it could ease some of the current pressure on risk assets.

Institutions: The Federal Reserve has limited room to raise interest rates, and are bullish on US 10-year Treasury bonds.

Infrastructure Capital Advisors is bullish on U.S. 10-year Treasury bonds, citing expectations that the Federal Reserve will implement just one more interest rate hike. The firm’s CEO and portfolio manager stated in a report that a single rate hike aligns with the Fed’s "dot plot"—its policymakers’ interest rate projections—and falls short of the market’s current pricing expectations. He noted: "U.S. 10-year Treasury yields typically run 100 basis points above the Fed’s federal funds rate terminal level. As such, we anticipate weak housing data and soft core CPI figures will push the Fed to pause its rate hikes, leading U.S. 10-year Treasury yields to stabilize around 5%."

NVIDIA's employee turnover rate is just 3.7%: the company does not have an organizational chart, and all staff receive 2 additional days of leave per quarter.

According to Fortune, NVIDIA’s global employee turnover rate is just 3.7%, far lower than the tech industry average of 21.9%. Febe Punsalan, NVIDIA’s head of human resources, stated that the company has long adhered to a "mission-first" culture, adopted flat management, and does not have a traditional organizational chart—key project leads may even report directly to CEO Jensen Huang, who currently has 36 direct reports. NVIDIA also continuously adjusts its welfare policies based on employee feedback. The company offers an extra two "Free Days" per quarter for all global staff, during which the entire company shuts down, and employees do not need to handle work or emails. Additionally, it maintains a hybrid work system, and provides maternity leave, paternity leave, student loan repayment support, reimbursement for IVF and surrogacy costs, as well as support programs for neurodivergent employees and their children. The report added that NVIDIA employees can purchase company stock at a 15% discount to the market price using their salaries, a perk that has made some staff millionaires. However, employees also noted that the company has high work intensity and a "pressure cooker" work environment. Punsalan acknowledged NVIDIA’s work is challenging, but said this high-intensity work is recognized by employees due to its sense of meaning and mission.
