Kishu Inu founder accused of $9 million 'rug pull' scam, faces three wire fraud charges

Kishu Inu founder Alexander Sisemore is facing three wire fraud charges, with prosecutors alleging his involvement in a roughly $9 million rug pull scam. The U.S. Department of Justice released the indictment on October 7. Prosecutors claim that when the Kishu Inu project launched, Sisemore and co-conspirators secretly allocated tokens to themselves, made false statements to investors to prop up the project’s liquidity and inflate the token’s price, while covertly selling their own token holdings. Prosecutors allege Sisemore reaped approximately $9 million in personal profit from the scheme. He is charged with three counts of wire fraud, each carrying a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. The FBI Chicago Field Office is now seeking Kishu Inu investors and relevant case leads. It is important to note that all the above are prosecutorial allegations; the indictment does not constitute a guilty verdict, and Sisemore is legally presumed innocent until proven guilty.

OpenAI’s Codex failed to complete the task despite writing 1.3 million lines of code, while Anthropic’s Claude ported the TypeScript compiler in just two weeks.

Beating AI Express: Renowned developer Theo has open-sourced tsc-rs, an AI-powered port of Microsoft’s Go-written TypeScript 7 compiler to Rust. The project covers the compiler, type checker, and language server, with the goal of directly replacing the official tsc. Theo stated he did not read a single line of the generated code, and the project took approximately five months to complete. Initially, Theo used tools like Codex and multiple OpenAI models, generating over 1.3 million lines of Rust code, but compatibility remained stuck at around 84%. Calculated at API pricing, the token cost exceeded $400,000. Later, he switched to Claude Opus 5.5, which abandoned the previous code and re-ported from scratch. The model produced a working initial version in 10 hours and finished the main work within two weeks, with token costs totaling roughly $24,000 at API rates. Tests show tsc-rs has passed 181,711 tests ported from the Go version. When checked against 120 open-source projects, its results are nearly identical to Microsoft’s Go-based implementation, with only a small number of known behavioral differences. Performance tests on 60 open-source projects indicate the Rust version’s average type checking time is about half that of the Go version.

Crude oil prices surged nearly 4% intraday, reigniting inflationary pressures.

According to Bitget market data, Brent crude futures rose 4.1% on the day, currently trading at $104.33; WTI crude oil prices rose 3.9% intraday, now at $91.7. Rising oil prices signal higher inflation. To bring inflation back to the 2% target, the Federal Reserve implemented its first interest rate hike since 2023 last month. Several Federal Reserve officials have publicly stated that further interest rate hikes would be reasonable going forward. BlockBeats previously reported that the Pentagon has ordered U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) to complete preparations for resuming major combat operations against Iran, but former President Trump has not made a final decision nor set a specific strike date. Officials said if the operation is restarted, it could take place before the U.S. midterm elections on November 3, or even earlier than Israel’s general election on October 27.
