Securitize has tokenized 12 U.S. stocks including Apple and Nvidia onto the Solana blockchain, and plans to expand to the New York Stock Exchange’s digital platform.

Tokenization firm Securitize announced today it is bringing 12 U.S. stocks—including Apple, NVIDIA, Tesla, and Microsoft—to the Solana blockchain, launching a new product called "Securitize Stocks". The initial lineup covers Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Netflix, Circle, Strategy, and Palantir. Each stock token is backed 1:1 by actual shares, retaining applicable shareholder rights like dividends and voting rights in its structure, though it represents securities interests rather than direct ownership on the company’s shareholder register. A conversion channel may be offered once tokenization is adopted by issuers. The product will initially trade on Securitize’s existing Solana platform, with liquidity supplied by Jump Trading and settled in USDC stablecoin. It is also expected to list on the New York Stock Exchange’s planned 24/7 digital trading platform and the upcoming OKXICE tokenized securities venue—a joint venture between Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE’s parent) and OKX—both of which must meet listing and regulatory requirements.
