Beating AI News reports that the shooter game co-developed by Epic Games and Disney has been delayed. Originally scheduled for a March 2027 launch, no new release date has been set. The game will feature Marvel and Star Wars characters, but the development team has received a radical new mandate: a full "AI-first" approach, ditching handwritten code in favor of AI tools like Claude for generation. Game art must also be produced via an end-to-end AI workflow, with human developers handling guidance and oversight. This title was intended to be the first project in Epic and Disney’s multi-year collaboration plan. In 2024, Disney announced a $1.5 billion investment to take a stake in Epic, formalizing their long-term partnership. Sources familiar with the project revealed Epic underestimated the manpower and timeline required, leading to consistent development delays. During a video call last week, some staff were stunned by the new directive, with one joking: “If Claude writes faulty code, should Claude fix it itself?” Epic CEO Tim Sweeney later confirmed the company is making major adjustments to its development team to accelerate AI adoption. JP Morgan Chase released its third-quarter financial results, reporting adjusted revenue of $50.91 billion, below the market consensus estimate of $51.37 billion. The bank’s third-quarter earnings per share (EPS) came in at $5.57, while sales and trading revenue from its FICC (fixed income, currencies, commodities) division reached $5.37 billion, missing the projected $6 billion. MediaMarktSaturn, parent company of European electronics retailer MediaMarkt, has pulled all Ledger products from its physical stores and online channels. A company spokesperson stated that it is in communication with the manufacturer, noting: “We take this matter very seriously.” Earlier, some users reported that two Ledger wallets purchased at different MediaMarkt outlets contained unauthorized cables and cellular modules. Earlier today, former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpelès publicly confirmed that a Ledger Flex bought at Metapod in Singapore’s airport had a spy module implanted inside it, underscoring the growing risks in the hardware wallet supply chain.

Bitget has officially launched its rToken US stock transfer function, which currently supports over 3,000 US stocks and ETFs. Users can transfer eligible stock assets from their traditional brokerage accounts to Bitget; upon deposit, the stocks will be automatically converted into US spot rTokens based on the corresponding holding quantity. Bitget does not charge any fees throughout the entire transfer process. The transferred rTokens can be directly integrated into Bitget's Panoramic Exchange (UEX) ecosystem, and used for wealth management, lending, margin trading, and other yield-generating products, enhancing the capital efficiency and use cases of stock assets. To coincide with the launch of this feature, Bitget is also running a reward campaign with a total value of $1 million in SpaceX stock tokens (rSPCX). Users can receive corresponding SpaceX stock rewards based on their transfer amount, with rewards allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Users can select the stocks and quantities they wish to transfer on the US stock transfer page, and use the in-page reward calculator to check their estimated transfer amount and corresponding campaign rewards. Hyperliquid’s Assistance Fund has cumulatively purchased over 48 million HYPE tokens, with total spending of approximately $1.365 billion. The current market value of these tokens has risen to around $3.953 billion. The fund primarily uses protocol transaction fee revenue to continuously repurchase HYPE from the open market, serving as the core mechanism for the protocol to return value to token holders. Recently, Hyperliquid also injected a portion of USDC reserve earnings into the Assistance Fund via the AQAv2 framework to further expand repurchase funding sources, making such repurchases no longer fully dependent on transaction fees.
