Fish Audio has open-sourced Drama 3, which is based on Qwen3.5-35B-A3B and features precise voice control.

Beating AI Express: AI audio company Fish Audio has officially open-sourced the weights of its Drama 3 model, allowing developers to download and deploy it independently from Hugging Face. Drama 3 launched a preview version back in September, and now it fully opens its web platform, mobile app, and API, alongside releasing model weights, inference code, and technical reports. Built on the Qwen3.5-35B-A3B language model, Drama 3 has a total of 35 billion parameters, with only around 3 billion activated per generation, supporting 83 languages. The model focuses on precise control of voice performance: users can describe emotions in natural language, adjust a line from calm to choked up, insert laughter at specified positions, and even have up to 16 characters alternate speaking in the same text. In Artificial Analysis' English pronunciation accuracy test, Drama 3 ranks first with 93.2%, outperforming the previous generation S2.1 Pro's 88.1%. Drama 3 is licensed under the Fish Audio Community License: research and non-commercial use are free. Individuals or enterprises (and their affiliates) with a combined annual revenue under $500,000 can use it for commercial purposes free of charge within the license scope. However, if the model is provided as a voice generation, cloning, or inference API service to third parties, separate authorization is required.

SK Hynix may delay delivery of some HBM4 backend equipment orders to next year.

According to South Korean media reports, SK Hynix’s order for back-end process equipment for HBM4, originally scheduled for delivery this year, may be pushed to next year. Industry insiders note this reflects the chipmaker’s adjustment to its HBM4 production expansion pace, though it does not yet signal a full delay in the HBM4 project. Sources said most of SK Hynix’s HBM4-related equipment orders for this year have been basically confirmed, while plans for additional follow-up investment remain unclear. Some delivered equipment has not yet been fully commissioned. Market speculations have also emerged regarding HBM4 technology or yield issues, but no evidence has linked the equipment delivery delay to product quality problems. Analysts believe the adjustment may be tied to the recovery of the general DRAM market: as demand and prices for standard DRAM rise, SK Hynix may shift some investment resources to building related production capacity. Meanwhile, the company continues to advance HBM4 R&D and advanced packaging initiatives, and has already supplied 16-layer HBM4 samples to key clients.

The era of end terminals guessing agent states is drawing to a close, as Claude Code and Codex have successively rolled out support for OSC7501.

Beating AI News: Ghostty creator Mitchell Hashimoto’s Terminal State Protocol OSC 7501 has been integrated by major coding agents. Anthropic’s Claude Code v2.1.295 and xAI’s Grok Build v1.0.52 now fully support the protocol. OpenAI has merged Codex adaptation code on GitHub, though it has not yet been included in the latest stable release. OSC 7501 enables agents to actively notify the terminal of their status—whether working, waiting for user input, completed, or encountering an error. For example, when Claude Code is stuck on permission confirmation, the terminal can directly identify the waiting status, eliminating the need to infer it from loading animations or on-screen text. Other open-source agents are rolling out support: Pi v1.1.0, Crush v0.98.0, Oh My Pi v18.8.7, and Docker Agent v1.150.0 all now integrate OSC 7501. OpenTUI, the terminal interface framework used by OpenCode, has also added OSC 7501 support in its v0.6.3 release, though adaptation code for OpenCode itself has not yet been merged. On the terminal side, tools including Rex, cmux, and TUIOS can receive these status updates, cutting down on the need to maintain separate detection rules for different agents.

Doubao Mobile lifts restrictions on cross-app automatic operations, with 153 apps including WeChat and Taobao blocking the feature.

Beating AI Express – Doubao Mobile Assistant announced that the 30-day public consultation period for the Screen Automation Operation Declaration Protocol (SAEP) has concluded, and it will gradually roll out automatic operation permissions for third-party apps. The key change is a rule reversal: Previously, third-party apps had to actively consent for Doubao to perform actions like simulated clicks and input; now, as long as there is no explicit refusal, Doubao will enable relevant capabilities based on the app’s risk level, allowing AI to complete more cross-app tasks on users’ behalf. However, many mainstream apps have explicitly opted out. The latest official refusal list includes 153 app entries: 65 from Tencent and its ecosystem (including WeChat, QQ, Honor of Kings), 23 from Alibaba and its ecosystem (including Taobao, Alipay, DingTalk). Also on the list are Meituan, Pinduoduo, Xiaohongshu, Kuaishou, DeepSeek, Kimi, and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). App developers do not need to choose between full access and a complete ban. Per SAEP’s developer documentation, Doubao can be allowed to assist in editing posts but is barred from direct publishing; it can also block login page screenshots and separately restrict actions like check-ins, lucky draws, and content deletion. For high-risk operations involving payments, account authentication, and more, the system may either require user confirmation or decline execution outright. Even after the public consultation period ends, developers can still declare refusal at any time.
