Its official status page shows the outage began at 08:11, affecting the web chat service, V4 Pro and V4.1 Flash APIs. DeepSeek announced at 09:08 that it had located the cause and was implementing repairs. However, as of 10:43, the outage had lasted over two and a half hours and remained unresolved. The official classified the incident severity as Full Outage, with no specific cause disclosed yet. This marks DeepSeek’s fifth service outage recorded since October. On October 2, web and API services were abnormal for 1 hour and 54 minutes. Two outages occurred on October 12, lasting 11 minutes and 15 minutes respectively.
