Gemini co-founders Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss stated in an interview that Bitcoin is a public, auditable blockchain where anyone can view transaction records, though its transparency makes it ill-suited for privacy-focused use cases. Zcash, by contrast, is designed for private transactions and payments, so the two can coexist. Ideally, privacy would be native to Bitcoin, but the current practical model is "Bitcoin for storage + Zcash for transactions". Bitcoin remains significant, but public blockchains face heightened privacy exposure risks in the era of AI. The Winklevoss brothers added that Zcash fills Bitcoin’s gap in privacy functionality, serving as "encrypted Bitcoin". ZEC’s privacy value has not yet been fully realized; if it reaches 10% of Bitcoin’s market capitalization, ZEC could surge fivefold, easily surpassing $5,000. As such, they are bullish on ZEC’s price performance over the next 5 to 10 years, particularly as demand for privacy rises. "Zcash is a financial privacy tool for the AI era, an antidote to AI-driven surveillance and tyranny. Anyone bullish on AI (or quantum), even if they don’t recognize it, should be bullish on Zcash. It is the AI hedge or quantum hedge in the cryptocurrency space."

WordPress has issued a security alert, noting that PHP has released a security update. Due to the severity of the vulnerability, website owners are advised to update PHP immediately and contact their hosting providers to confirm patch deployment and the implementation of Web Application Firewall (WAF) mitigation rules. Users can check their site’s current PHP version via the WordPress Dashboard: Tools > Site Health > Info > Server. PHP versions prior to 8.2 no longer receive official security updates. For websites still running older versions and managing their own servers, if an immediate fix is not possible, the official recommendation is to temporarily take the server offline until the vulnerability is effectively mitigated. WordPress emphasizes that this vulnerability is not unique to its platform, but affects servers running PHP-based applications.

French President Emmanuel Macron publicly criticized foreign leaders including Donald Trump during a Wednesday visit to Qatar for exploiting recent violent riots in France to attack immigrants and advance their own political agendas. Macron stated there was no evidence of foreign forces intervening in or inciting the French unrest, but foreign-manipulated information had since emerged, leading multiple world leaders to make what he called "unacceptable and stupid" remarks. He explicitly noted, "Trump is among them." "We have seen some AI-generated images depicting scenes that never occurred in France. Some also claim France is being invaded by groups of immigrants and Islamists, which is completely false." Macron also lashed out at those "in certain parts of France, or across the Atlantic, using our situation to campaign for their own elections," saying, "These people make me very angry." Trump’s Republican Party is two weeks away from the U.S. midterm elections. Since French protests escalated into riots last Saturday, Trump has repeatedly cited France’s violence and scenes of looting and vandalism to link the events to immigration policy. Trump also warned U.S. voters, "Look at France and you will know," and claimed "Paris will soon become a Muslim city." These remarks connect the unrest in France to the U.S. immigration policy debate, but French police have not yet definitively linked the riots to immigrants or Islamist radicals.
