During NVIDIA's GTC Berlin keynote on October 21 (Beijing Time), NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang unveiled the DSX POD AI Factory reference design. The product is built in modular shipping containers, fully integrated and validated prior to delivery, and will roll out globally in early 2027. Huang noted that compared to traditional data center deployments, DSX POD cuts the time from deployment initiation to token generation from six months to as little as 14 days, marking a transformation in the supply chain.

NVIDIA has launched the OpenShell reference architecture, integrating the Vera Rubin infrastructure, Vera central processing unit (CPU), BlueField-4 data processing unit (DPU), and OpenShell secure runtime software, to enable enterprises to build, run, and manage AI agents at scale, while monitoring their behaviors and applying security constraints. The architecture leverages the NVIDIA Sentry security framework running on BlueField-4 to continuously monitor AI agent behaviors and enforce security policies at the hardware level. When an AI agent attempts to breach software-defined boundaries, the system can isolate and terminate it in milliseconds. NVIDIA stated that the Vera Rubin NVL72 system delivers 30 times the throughput per megawatt for AI agent workloads compared to previous solutions, while NVIDIA Sentry can boost agent capacity by up to 20%. The architecture supports enterprise environments including Linux, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Windows, and is scalable to edge devices. Companies including Microsoft, Google Cloud, Dell Technologies, Cisco, OpenAI, and Anthropic are participating in related partnerships.

According to POLITICO, U.S. congressional Democrats are developing plans for a potential new round of oversight investigations, with Elon Musk and his companies as key targets. If Democrats regain control of the House of Representatives after the November midterm elections, SpaceX’s government contracts, federal subsidies awarded to Tesla, and Musk’s actions during his tenure leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will likely face congressional probes. The report notes that multiple senior Democratic lawmakers and congressional aides are discussing investigative actions that various committees could take, covering issues including government fund usage, potential conflicts of interest, sensitive data access permissions, and SpaceX’s provision of military satellite communications services to Ukraine. Sara Guerrero, spokesperson for Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, stated that Democrats have numerous questions about Musk’s activities during his time at DOGE and plan to launch investigations into the matter.
