According to Lookonchain monitoring, the account kimchi1x received 500 million KIMCHI tokens and published a related post. The account a1lon9 then retweeted the post, but later unretweeted it, while kimchi1x deleted the original post. Influenced by these developments, KIMCHI’s market capitalization briefly spiked to around $14 million before crashing more than 95%. Analysis: Brent crude oil continues to trade above $100, macroeconomic pressures may limit Bitcoin's upside potential.

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated in a post that due to ongoing tensions in the Gulf region and Ukraine’s intensified attacks on Russian refineries, Brent crude oil prices have held above $100 per barrel. Rising oil prices are transmitting through the global economy, pushing up costs for production, services, and commodities, further embedding inflationary pressures into the economic system, and potentially raising the risk of an economic slowdown—thereby restricting market liquidity, especially funds flowing into high-risk assets like Bitcoin. Darkfost pointed out that in the long-term trend, when Brent crude remains above its annual average and enters a strong upward trajectory, BTC tends to underperform; conversely, when oil prices fall sharply, BTC is more likely to see a recovery. However, he stressed that this does not imply a simple direct causal link between oil prices and BTC. What truly impacts high-risk assets is the macroeconomic environment accompanying high oil prices. This past July, oil prices briefly dipped, and BTC immediately got an opportunity to rally, but Brent crude has since rebounded notably. While funds may still rotate across different markets, driving BTC to extend its gains, the current macro environment is not favorable for sustained inflows of new liquidity into the market.
