Higgsfield Secures Investment from NVIDIA: Integrates 35 AI Models, Gross Profit Margin of Its Own Models Exceeds 80%

Beating AI News Flash: NVIDIA and investment firm TCV have made an additional investment in AI video company Higgsfield as part of its August Series B round. Back in August, Higgsfield raised $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation, more than quadrupling its value since the start of the year. No details on the latest investment amount or valuation were disclosed. Higgsfield not only develops its own video models but also integrates around 35 third-party models including Kling, Veo, and Sora into a unified platform. Users can complete the entire workflow from storyboarding, character design to voiceover and final production without switching between tools. Founder Alex Mashrabov previously revealed that over 40% of the platform’s workflows use models automatically selected by the system. Profit margins vary drastically across models: gross margins exceed 80% for in-house or open-weight models, while they stand at just 20%–30% when accessing third-party closed-source models. Higgsfield has over 40 million registered users. The company announced in September that its annualized revenue exceeded $1 billion, growing roughly 20-fold year-over-year. The share of subscription revenue has fallen from over 90% to just above 60%, with pay-as-you-go revenue accounting for an increasing proportion.

Analysis: Brent crude oil continues to trade above $100, macroeconomic pressures may limit Bitcoin's upside potential.

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated in a post that due to ongoing tensions in the Gulf region and Ukraine’s intensified attacks on Russian refineries, Brent crude oil prices have held above $100 per barrel. Rising oil prices are transmitting through the global economy, pushing up costs for production, services, and commodities, further embedding inflationary pressures into the economic system, and potentially raising the risk of an economic slowdown—thereby restricting market liquidity, especially funds flowing into high-risk assets like Bitcoin. Darkfost pointed out that in the long-term trend, when Brent crude remains above its annual average and enters a strong upward trajectory, BTC tends to underperform; conversely, when oil prices fall sharply, BTC is more likely to see a recovery. However, he stressed that this does not imply a simple direct causal link between oil prices and BTC. What truly impacts high-risk assets is the macroeconomic environment accompanying high oil prices. This past July, oil prices briefly dipped, and BTC immediately got an opportunity to rally, but Brent crude has since rebounded notably. While funds may still rotate across different markets, driving BTC to extend its gains, the current macro environment is not favorable for sustained inflows of new liquidity into the market.
