In June this year, Nanjing state media was still hailing the star firm: just 4 months after its launch, it had signed framework orders worth nearly 500 million yuan with multiple central SOEs, plus another 500 million yuan in local market reserve orders, and secured 110 million yuan in financing. The company focuses on developing industrial-grade quadruped robots for use cases including power inspection, energy, and mining. In July, Jiangning District government showcased its robot, which can identify instrument anomalies and operate switches, with delivery scheduled for October. But just a month later, the company began defaulting on wages. Employees told National Business Daily that salaries have been unpaid since August, provident fund contributions suspended in September, and social security payments halted in October, affecting 30 to 40 staff, with total wage arrears approaching 8 million yuan. The company has now suspended operations, with even its R&D department head involved in labor arbitration. On October 22, reporters contacted CEO Yuan Haihui, who stated he could not reach actual controller Cui Xiaofei and was not in a position to comment.
