UK asset manager Aviva Investors has launched tokenized shares of a sterling liquidity fund on the XRP Ledger.

Ripple announced that Aviva Investors, the asset management arm of UK insurance group Aviva, has launched a tokenized share class of the Aviva Investors Sterling (GBP) Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger. This fund is Aviva Investors’ largest, with around £22 billion in assets under management (AUM). The launch marks the second existing fund to be tokenized by the firm, following the rollout of tokenized shares for its U.S. dollar liquidity fund in July 2026. To date, total investment in the two tokenized share classes exceeds $116 million (£86 million), with Aviva itself having invested $66 million (£50 million) in the new share class. The fund is an Irish-registered UCITS money market fund that adopts a "digital twin" model: it maintains an off-chain fund structure while mapping its holdings onto the blockchain. Its underlying assets are custodied by BNY Mellon, with support from digital asset custodian Komainu and tokenization platform Licuido, and is open to qualified investors holding digital wallets.

Barclays lifts Tesla’s price target from $370 to $450 and upgrades its rating to Overweight.

Barclays has raised Tesla’s 12-month target price from $370 to $450, upgrading its stock rating from Equal Weight to Overweight, with the new target representing a roughly 21.6% increase from the prior level. The U.S. bank’s analysts noted that Tesla’s improved growth outlook for its core auto business, emerging inflection signs in its Robotaxi segment, and strong demand for energy storage services are all expected to support the company’s valuation. Additionally, expectations of a potential merger between Tesla and SpaceX could also bring a valuation premium, though there remains uncertainty over whether the two entities will ultimately combine. According to market data from BIT (Bit.com), Tesla (TSLA.O) rose nearly 2% in pre-market trading, likely driven by this news.

ByteDance has turned AI-powered short dramas into an assembly line: adapting 100,000-word novels into scripts, and the finished short dramas can also be reworked for overseas distribution.

Beating AI News: ByteDance today launched "Jimu Short Drama Studio", a platform integrating screenwriting, character design, storyboarding, video generation and post-production. Its screenplay model DreamScript supports parsing 100,000-word full-length novels, generating up to 100 consecutive episodes of scripts, and checking plot conflicts and character settings. The storyboard model DreamShot offers a 3D director console, enabling users to adjust camera positions and movements in advance and preview shooting effects. Characters, costumes and scenes from scripts are automatically organized into a material library for reuse in subsequent shots; unsatisfactory shots can be re-shot individually after generation. The feature most suited for short dramas going global is "Remake & Redraw": users upload a completed short drama, and the AI will break down characters, scenes, props and shots, then regenerate visuals based on the target region, art style and aspect ratio, while preserving the original plot rhythm and shot language as much as possible — essentially creating an overseas version by re-filming the original footage. Many of these functions are derived from ByteDance's subsidiary Xiaoyunque. The latter launched its short drama agent in March this year, and rolled out the "Remake & Redraw" feature in August. On October 24, 36Kr reported that Xiaoyunque has been integrated into Jimu, while retaining its independent entry point.

Bloomberg: Gold and silver relative to US Treasuries may have peaked, marking a turning point for precious metals.

Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Mike McGlone noted in a report that gold prices have pulled back to a support level around $4,000 per ounce, while silver is nearing $50 per ounce. However, their performance relative to U.S. Treasuries may have hit an extreme not seen in roughly 40 years, and the trend of precious metals versus U.S. Treasuries may have peaked. McGlone explained that interest rate hikes by most central banks, as well as the correction and volatility in the U.S. stock market, could drive a shift in the relative performance of precious metals to U.S. Treasuries. By contrast, U.S. Treasuries and Treasury bills with yields near 5% may regain appeal.
