Glassnode: BTC sellers cut losses after the asset fell below $80,000, potentially forming a local low.

Glassnode shared data on social media indicating that Bitcoin (BTC) sellers have been cutting losses below the $80,000 level. Last week saw the longest stretch of daily net realized losses since mid-August. Both the loss concentration periods in August and September formed at local price lows. If BTC’s price can hold above $75,000, it will align with this pattern once more.

OpenAI Signs Multiple AI Cooperation Agreements With Abu Dhabi

According to reports from the Abu Dhabi Media Office and CNBC, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman met with Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council, and witnessed the signing of multiple cooperation agreements with Abu Dhabi spanning sectors including energy, investment, and government. In the energy field, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), G42’s Inception42, and OpenAI have struck a deal to deploy OpenAI’s cutting-edge models in ADNOC’s operations, making it the first energy company to adopt such technology. The capabilities are built on GPT models and use inference infrastructure based in the United Arab Emirates. For investment, sovereign investment firm Mubadala, Inception42, and OpenAI agreed to apply advanced AI to investment analysis, opportunity identification, and risk assessment. On the government front, the Abu Dhabi government and OpenAI launched the "Machine-Readable Government" initiative, which will convert some policies and regulations into machine-readable formats to support routine assessments such as licensing and compliance, with final decisions remaining with government officials. Separately, per the official statement, Inception42 and OpenAI also signed a five-year agreement to advance the deployment of cutting-edge AI across UAE government, corporate, and education sectors. CNBC noted that OpenAI is seeking to raise up to around $20 billion in a new funding round, led by a consortium of UAE investors.

Tom Lee: The crypto market has hit bottom, the AI market remains very tight, and most investors have been washed out.

Tom Lee said in an interview with CNBC: "I believe we have already hit the bottom. Many hedge fund managers tell me the famous adage: 'Catching a falling knife is dangerous, because you never know how much more it will drop.' But I think we have indeed hit the bottom, for two reasons. First, the AI market remains very tight—it is not a market with overcapacity. We see constraints such as political resistance that have prevented more capital expenditure, which has indeed slowed growth, but has not formed a peak. The second signal, in my view, is crypto thefts. The $6.3 billion loss from the Binance hack barely caused a drop in crypto prices. If crypto were a leading indicator of risk appetite, you would have seen investors being washed out to some extent, but this incident barely hurt crypto prices."
