The attackers lurked for months, gradually infiltrating via fake recruitment, tampered development tools, zero-day malware, and other methods, and used internal AI tools as an attack springboard. Furthermore, Binance is willing to share the attack’s characteristics with other exchanges and participate in industry-wide real-time early warning, suspicious fund tracking, and joint risk prevention. Binance will invite an independent third-party security firm to review its rectification efforts and will release the results publicly once finalized.
