Beating AI News Flash: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman changed his X handle to "Ram Altman". RAM is short for computer memory. The incident originated from an interview on October 29, where Altman complained about the global shortage of memory supplies, pointing out that most DRAM chips sit idle in personal computers, being used only around 5% of the time. He called this a waste of scarce resources, arguing that centralizing memory in cloud data centers would enable far more efficient utilization. Netizens immediately joked that Altman wanted to "hoard the world's memory". Elon Musk also shared a meme mocking people for "hoarding memory" on their PCs. A netizen later suggested Altman rename himself "Ram Altman". After replying "ok yeah", Altman actually updated his handle to that. However, Altman later clarified that he actually hopes for a significant global increase in memory production, so everyone can install as much memory as they want in their computers. When his comments were taken out of context, he bluntly said "fucking annoying".

According to OnchainLens monitoring, a trader has recorded a nominal liquidation volume of over $52.5 million on Hyperliquid in the past seven days, incurring losses of roughly $881,000. The address currently holds a BTC short position valued at approximately $5.54 million with 40x leverage, sitting just 0.27% away from its liquidation price. Its unrealized loss stands at $149,600, while its cumulative historical profit and loss totals around $885,500 in losses.

CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost noted in a post that on-chain data shows Bitcoin’s "Seller Exhaustion Model" indicator has dropped to its lowest level since the last bear market. The model measures whether sellers still hold enough positions to keep pushing prices down by comparing the market’s profitable supply ratio with average monthly volatility. With BTC having corrected more than 10% from its recent peak, most short-term profit-taking positions in the market have been closed, and selling momentum has weakened significantly. Historically, such a sharp decline in selling pressure usually helps form a market bottom. The analyst also warned that easing selling pressure does not mean the market will rebound immediately. The core contradiction now is that although sellers have calmed down, the market still lacks sufficient "new demand" to drive prices higher. Until buying capital returns substantially, Bitcoin’s upside potential remains limited.

According to official announcements, OKX has officially launched its "Simple Options" product, initially supporting four tokenized stock underlying assets: xSPCX, xMU, xGOOGL, and xNVDA. The product offers four basic trading actions: long call, long put, short call, and short put, supports 24/7 quote-based trading with a minimum investment of 1 share. Users can, based on market outlooks and position needs, participate in price fluctuations or hedge existing positions by buying options, or collect premiums by selling options for scenarios such as increasing position returns or planned purchases. Before placing an order, users can view the premium, break-even price, and potential profit/loss outcomes. The product adopts a fixed-price quoting model with no additional transaction fees. Users can access the product via the OKX App path: "Trade" → "Options" → "Simple Options".

Beating AI News Flash: Y Combinator-backed startup TesterArmy has rebranded to e2e and secured an $8 million seed round. Investors include Credo Ventures, Point Nine, as well as co-founders of Uber and Snowflake. Combined with its prior $1.2 million pre-seed round, the company has raised a total of $9.2 million. e2e is an open-source AI automated testing tool built to verify that AI-developed software operates correctly. For instance, to test a membership upgrade feature, developers only need to input the instruction "upgrade account to Pro" — the AI will automatically locate entry points, click buttons, complete the action, and then use code to confirm the membership status has actually updated. The tool’s underlying technology integrates Playwright and AI Agents, allowing the AI to understand web pages and execute operations, while using traditional assertions to precisely validate results. It also caches verified operation steps: when running the same test next time, it prioritizes replaying steps directly, only re-invoking the AI if replay fails due to page changes. This cuts redundant inference costs and eliminates the need for the model to re-determine operation paths for every test. The team previously ran a closed-source testing platform called TesterArmy, but clients faced limitations including inability to manage test code alongside their projects, freely switch models, or run tests locally. On October 1 this year, the team open-sourced the tool under the Apache 2.0 license. The company states that in its first month post-launch, it received over 1.5 million npm downloads, earned 12,000 GitHub stars, and gained 60 external contributors. The company plans to launch e2e Cloud in 2027, which will offer teams cloud-based testing environments, model, and device resources, while the existing open-source framework will remain free.
