DoubleZero has announced that Kalshi’s real-time order book data is now live on its DoubleZero Edge platform, delivering institutional-grade market data supported by multicast and dedicated fiber connectivity. The offering includes full-depth order books and all active sports and crypto perpetual contracts. It is understood that this integration enables quantitative traders and market makers to access machine-readable, zero-format real-time data without building their own infrastructure, supporting pricing, hedging, and signal generation, and significantly lowering the threshold for algorithmic trading in prediction markets.

Bank of America's hedge fund clients continued heavy purchases of US stocks, with the weekly volume hitting its highest level since 2008.

A week after Bank of America’s hedge fund clients bought U.S. stocks at near-record levels, their investment activity hit its highest point since 2008. Strategists led by Jill Carey Hall at the bank wrote in a research report that in the week ending August 7, clients net-bought U.S. stocks for the sixth consecutive week, injecting $4.1 billion into ETFs and pulling $2.4 billion out of individual stocks. During the same period, both institutional and retail clients net sold, while corporate clients accelerated share buybacks. Clients sold 7 out of 11 sectors, with industrial stocks seeing the largest capital outflow, while the tech sector recorded its second-largest weekly inflow ever. (Bloomberg)

Hyperliquid founder Jeff announced in a Discord post that, based on developer feedback, HIP-1 will add a deployer-controlled scaleWei feature. The feature enables atomic allocation of tokens from system addresses proportional to users’ holdings of reference tokens, and supports token denomination adjustments. During the adjustment window, unfilled orders will be canceled and re-placed at their actual proportion, while reverse adjustments can be executed via negative parameters.
