Bitdeer subsidiary Dory Creek will deploy its Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining rigs at Soluna’s Project Kati 1, a wind-powered data center in Willacy County, Texas, U.S., starting September 2026. The deployment is expected to connect to 28MW of power and deliver approximately 1.93 EH/s of Bitcoin mining hashrate. The partnership uses a revenue-sharing model: Soluna is responsible for the site, power supply, and daily operations, while Bitdeer supplies and owns the mining rigs, with both parties splitting the Bitcoin revenue generated by this portion of the equipment. Project Kati 1 has a total capacity of 83MW, and Galaxy Digital is currently utilizing 48MW of its capacity for Bitcoin mining.

Beating AI Express: Stability AI, the developer of AI image generation model Stable Diffusion, has closed a $76 million Series B funding round, bringing its total financing to $232 million. Investors include Universal Music Group, Sony Music Group, Warner Music Group, Electronic Arts (EA), AMD Ventures, Pacific Alliance Ventures, and others. Founded in 2019, Stability has signed multiple deals with entertainment companies over the past year, integrating generative AI into their creative workflows. Robotics foundation model startup Generalist has closed an approximately $200 million extension funding round led by 8VC, bringing its post-money valuation to $3 billion. This is an extension of the $400 million Series B round the company announced in June, which was led by Radical Ventures and valued Generalist at $2 billion at the time. Total funding raised by the startup now stands at $600 million following this latest extension. Founded in 2024, Generalist’s founding team includes former Google DeepMind researchers Pete Florence and Andy Zeng, plus former Boston Dynamics engineer Andrew Barry. Early backers of the firm include NVIDIA, Union Square Ventures, Bezos Expeditions, and AI researcher Li Feifei. The company’s newly launched Gen 1.5 model claims to enable robots to master new tasks from just 3 to 12 seconds of video demonstrations. It is currently collaborating with a small number of clients to customize models for specific scenarios based on feedback.
