Walmart, Eli Lilly, Carnival, Arcos Dorados, and Cigna have joined the list of opponents to the tokenized stock trading plan of OKXICE, a joint venture between crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. Hong Kong fintech firm PhotonPay announced it has closed a $40 million Series C funding round, led by Blockchain Capital, with new investor SBI Group participating, and existing backers IDG Capital, GL Ventures and Lightspeed Faction joining as follow-on investors.
