According to data from the BIT Stock Platform, Google’s stock price has extended its decline to 13.7%, marking its largest single-day drop in history, and is currently trading at $279.6. Based on Berkshire Hathaway’s 13F filing as of June 30, 2026, it holds 78,791,167 Class A GOOGL shares and 27,188,433 Class C GOOG shares, totaling approximately 106 million shares. At current prices, this holding is valued at around $29.6 billion, a decrease of roughly $8.2 billion from the $37.8 billion reported at the end of the prior quarter. Walmart, Eli Lilly and others oppose OKXICE's tokenized stock plan, bringing the total number of opposing companies to 38.

Walmart, Eli Lilly, Carnival, Arcos Dorados, and Cigna have joined the list of opponents to the tokenized stock trading plan of OKXICE, a joint venture between crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. An updated announcement shows that the number of companies that have filed objections has reached 38, more than half of the 62 firms originally on the proposed list. The plan relies on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s "innovation exemption" framework. Under the framework, when tokenizing shares via an unaffiliated third party, the trading venue must notify the issuer and grant a 30-day objection period; if no objection is raised, the trading can proceed, and there is no mechanism to withdraw consent afterward. JPMorgan Chase has also expressed opposition, with a spokesperson noting that the firm is not participating at this stage but does not rule out future opportunities.
