Sam Altman vs. Ray Dalio: In the Era of Superintelligence, Are Humans the Masters or the Pets?

Insight Beating AI News Flash: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman publicly posted his opposition to a future where humans live in ways AI considers worthy of reward, with AI deciding what returns to grant. In his view, humans must always retain control over the future; even if that requires limiting the development of superintelligence, decision-making power must not be ceded. Altman did not name names, but the statement he cited directly comes from Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei’s 2024 essay *Machines of Loving Grace*. Amodei raised a question at the time: If AI eventually becomes better than humans at nearly all tasks, and is cheap enough to render humans economically uncompetitive, how will society function? He discussed several possible solutions, including universal basic income, and an economic model where AI generates massive wealth then distributes resources based on human behaviors it deems worthy of reward. In this latter scenario, humans may no longer need to work for a living, but the amount of resources they receive will depend on AI’s evaluation of their actions. However, Amodei did not put forward this mechanism as a formal proposal. He acknowledged all these plans have serious flaws, and warned of potential exploitation and dystopian outcomes.

Claude plugins support automatic connection: enterprises only need to configure it once, eliminating the need for employees to log in individually.

Beating AI Express: Anthropic has rolled out an auto-connection feature for Claude plugins. Previously, employees had to log in and authorize each MCP plugin individually when using tools like Notion, Figma, and others. Now, administrators only need to complete pre-configuration, letting employees connect automatically on their first plugin use and eliminating repeated logins. The newly added Claude-issued Auth also allows Claude to serve as the identity verifier itself. Enterprises do not need to deploy additional single sign-on (SSO) systems like Okta; as long as plugin service providers designate Claude as a trusted identity issuer, employee identities can be confirmed via Claude’s login status. The feature is currently in public beta for Claude Team and Enterprise users, supporting select plugins including Notion, Figma, Linear, and Supabase.

Boundless launches ZKC tokenized AI inference program, where users can periodically earn AI model usage credits by staking the tokens.

According to an official announcement, the Boundless Foundation will launch its Tokenized AI Inference program on January 2, 2027, positioning ZKC as an AI Access Coin. After launch, users who stake ZKC will periodically receive a proportional share of model usage credits on the Boundless AI platform, which can be used to access cutting-edge open-weight models. Per the plan, the initial AI credit pool will be valued at approximately $1,000, distributed every two days, with user allocations determined by their staked share of the total network staked ZKC. Staked ZKC will not be burned, and users are not required to migrate their tokens or restake. Meanwhile, ZKC will transition to a fixed total supply, with new token issuance halted, and AI usage credits will replace the original staking and proof rewards. Boundless’s ZK proof service will be suspended indefinitely starting November 5, 2026. Key milestones: - November 5, 2026: New ZK proof requests will no longer be accepted, and the proof reward claim portal will be closed. - November 30, 2026: The Explorer user interface will be taken offline, while staking functionality will remain accessible via a separate interface. - January 1, 2027: The final staking reward cycle will conclude, and ZKC’s new token issuance will cease after reward settlement. - January 2, 2027: The Tokenized AI Inference program will officially launch, allowing users to stake ZKC to obtain AI model usage credits.

Trump says the Iran war will end when he says it ends.

According to U.S. broadcaster CBS, U.S. President Donald Trump congratulated Democrats on their victories in the midterm elections. Trump said: "Congratulations to the Democrats. I look forward to working with you for the interests of our country." Trump also stated: "I know a lot of Democrats, and I have absolute veto power. I believe we can find solutions to problems. I think they will be willing to cooperate with me; otherwise, I will veto everything, and they don't want that to happen." Explaining the reasons for the defeat of Republican candidates, Trump added: "In some cases, voters did not like those candidates; in other cases, those candidates are not my friends, and Republican base voters know this better than anyone else. As a result, they did not actively participate in voting. If my name had been on the ballot, we would have won easily, which is regrettable. But I did not run for office." When asked if he was frustrated about this, Trump said he had "done his best" and had "gone all out". Additionally, Trump discussed the Iran war, stating that the war would "end when I say it ends".
