According to PR Newswire, American Bitcoin Corp. (ABTC), a Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining company, released its Q3 2026 financial results. The company posted a net profit of approximately $126 million for the quarter, compared to a net loss of $57.2 million in the prior quarter; adjusted EBITDA came in at around $221 million, versus an adjusted EBITDA loss of $45 million in Q2. For mining operations, Q3 mining revenue was roughly $63.4 million, a slight decrease from $67 million in Q2, with total Bitcoin mined at about 891, down from 932 in Q2. Gross profit stood at $25.8 million, with a gross margin of 41%—lower than the 49% recorded in Q2—driven primarily by seasonal increases in electricity costs. On the strategic reserves front, the firm’s Bitcoin holdings rose from about 8,002 as of June 30 to around 8,427, adding roughly 425 coins for a 5% quarter-over-quarter increase. The Satoshis Per Share metric grew from ~10,989 to ~11,572, also a 5% rise. American Bitcoin noted it did not issue new shares via an ATM (at-the-market) program during the quarter, nor did it purchase Bitcoin on the open market. Its holdings include approximately 3,090 Bitcoin pledged under Bitmain mining rig purchase agreements. American Bitcoin is a subsidiary of Hut 8 Corp., with Eric Trump serving as its co-founder and chief strategy officer.

Digital Chamber of Commerce: Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown’s election win is the "most significant adverse outcome" for crypto.

According to The Block, U.S. crypto lobbying group Digital Chamber has labeled the victory of Democrat Sherrod Brown in Ohio’s Senate election as the “most consequential unfavorable result for the crypto industry.” The group noted that Brown’s policy priorities on financial stability, consumer protection, bank regulation, and combating illicit finance could influence the Democratic Party’s overall stance and policy direction on crypto assets. Brown previously served as chair of the Senate Banking Committee, taking a cautious approach to digital asset legislation and regulation while stressing risks related to illicit finance. During the recent midterm elections, crypto-focused political action committees (PACs) poured substantial funds into efforts to block his return to the Senate, but were unsuccessful. Digital Chamber’s latest comments further underscore the crypto industry’s concerns over a tightening regulatory environment following shifts in Congress’s makeup.

Keling 4.0 Flash is fully open: generates videos up to 20 seconds long, and supports Agents and Adobe plugins.

Beating AI Express: Kuaishou’s Kling AI has announced that Kling 4.0 Flash is now available to all users. The full version of Kling 4.0 was previously fully launched, but the Flash variant—focused on fast, low-cost video generation—had been exclusive to Black Gold annual card members since September 28. Flash retains core capabilities including text-to-video, image-to-video, and multi-material reference generation, though it makes trade-offs in video specifications and control precision. It generates a maximum 20-second, 720p video per run, while the full version supports up to 30-second, higher-resolution videos and enables scene change control via multiple keyframes. Flash currently lacks support for start/end frame or multi-keyframe control. Developers can now integrate this lightweight model into AI Agents via API, MCP, and CLI for automated, bulk video generation. Kling also offers an Adobe plugin, allowing creators to call the model directly in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects without frequent switching between creation tools.
