After 8 years and 3 crypto cycles, I’ve tracked 30 key indicators that historically signal bull market tops. So far, 0 have triggered. From MACD to retail mania, these signals can help spot when euphoria turns to exit.

0 out of 30 Bull Market Peak Indicators have hit so far

1/➮ Crypto is always cyclical, yet only a few make a profit, while the majority lose

✧ I’ve been here for 8 years, 3 cycles, making $6.5M starting with $0

✧ Thanks to crypto’s repetitive nature, I’ve seen the same plays dozens of times

That's what I use to profit:

2/➮ Every cycle, 99% of ppl fall into the same traps, manipulations, not realizing it.

✧ But some indicators have consistently pointed to the exact (or almost exact) peak of each cycle

I split them into 2 groups:

- Technical indicators
- Crowd indicators

Let’s dive in👇

3/➮ Everyone is euphorically bullish

First pumps many are still skeptical about the market, with no retail in

✧ But as the bull run progresses, fewer ppl like this remain - most turn into blindly "believers in a miracle"

Once everyone is like that, we’re close to the end

4/➮ Worldwide adoption

✧ Right now, this indicator works worse since crypto is already in the news daily

✧ But once it starts popping up on things like Jimmy Fallon–type shows, we’re cooked.

✧ At that moment, the end of the cycle is close.

5/➮ Composite Business Cycle Indicator

✧ The BCI blends leading, coincident, and lagging indexes into one measure

✧ It pulls together key economic data to forecast where we are in the cycle

✧ Historically, it rises above 50 right before market peaks

6/➮ Positive news & No growth

✧ There comes a point when sentiment is bullish, news is bullish - but price isn’t moving up.

✧ The market drifts lower despite the overall optimism,

✧ While bad news hits it 5x harder (sign of weakness)

7/➮ MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)

✧ Tracks the relationship between 2 moving averages - the 26-day EMA and the 12-day EMA

✧ The MACD line shows how these EMAs converge or diverge, signaling momentum shifts in price

8/➮ Broken Uptrend

✧ A clear signal is when the HTF uptrend breaks - price starts making lower highs and lower lows.

✧ It could be just a consolidation or correction, but if it aligns with other factors, it’s the end.

9/➮ Pi Cycle Top Indicator

✧ Designed to forecast Bitcoin market tops using two special moving averages: 111DMA and 350DMA × 2

✧ A top signal occurs when the 111DMA crosses above the 350DMA × 2

10/➮ Coinbase App Indicator

✧ Crypto apps can reveal retail activity - for example, tracking Coinbase’s US App Store rank.

✧ If it hits #1, it’s a strong signal to start taking profits - retail is already here, and that’s usually the last phase of the bull run.

11/➮ RSI (Relative Strength Index)

✧ A momentum oscillator that gauges the strength and speed of price movements

✧ Readings above 90 often signal the market’s final phase, typically ~8 weeks before the peak

✧ Frequently shows bearish divergence - RSI drops while price continues rising

12/➮ Profit Flexing + Quitting Jobs

✧ When CT is flooded with profit screenshots, ppl quitting jobs, buying watches, and partying

✧ It’s a clear sign of extreme greed.

✧ And as they say: “Buy the fear, sell the greed.”

13/➮ These are just rough indicators that can hint at the potential peak of this cycle.

But the actual exit depends on many factors:

- Your portfolio size
- How heavily you’re positioned in the market
- The level of risk you’re willing to take
