US CFTC plans to hold a roundtable meeting on December 15 to discuss 24/7 trading mechanisms for derivatives markets.

According to Pump.fun’s official X account, Pump.fun has partnered with Hyperliquid to launch perpetual (perps) trading on its Pump.fun App. Users can directly use USDC or SOL in their wallets to go long or short on crypto assets, stocks, and commodities without cross-chain bridging, as the platform integrates Hyperliquid’s on-chain perpetual engine. The official announcement states that over 300 Hyperliquid markets are tradable within the App, which supports position callouts and follower rewards. Leverage terms are as follows: up to 40x for BTC, 25x for ETH, 20x for individual stocks like Tesla (TSLA) and NVIDIA (NVDA), and 50x for the S&P 500. The platform uses isolated margin, allowing users to set take-profit and stop-loss orders at position opening or add them later. Trading fees are 0.05% per transaction, plus Hyperliquid’s standard fees.

Alipay responded to the announcement by crypto project Peer on X that it "supports buying and selling USDC via Alipay", stating that Alipay does not support virtual currency (cryptocurrency) transactions and related services. The project’s claim of allowing crypto purchases on third-party platforms is false and unauthorized. Alipay reminded users to stay vigilant to protect their funds and account security.

South Korea-listed Samsung Electronics released its official third-quarter 2026 financial results today. Figures show the company recorded 195.3 trillion won in revenue for the quarter, slightly higher than the preliminary figures previously announced; operating profit for Q3 stood at 107.4 trillion won. However, net profit for the quarter came in at 75.2 trillion won, missing the market consensus estimate of 83.6 trillion won. Following the earnings release, Samsung Electronics’ stock price dipped briefly before recovering slightly, and is now up 0.2%. By business segment, the semiconductor division remains the company’s core performance driver. The chip division posted an operating profit of 106.5 trillion won in Q3, accounting for nearly all of the company’s total profit. In addition, the display business maintained steady profitability, logging an operating profit of 1.1 trillion won. Insight Beating AI Flash News: Google Unveils Gemini 4 Carbon. It has been only half a month since its previous flagship model Argon was made available to the public. Third-party evaluation firm Artificial Analysis’s latest Intelligence Index v5.0 shows Carbon topped the ranking with 59 points, outperforming Claude Opus 5.5 (58 points) and GPT-6 Astra (57 points), and scoring 9 points higher than Argon. The upgrade is particularly prominent in cybersecurity: Carbon can not only detect software vulnerabilities, but also verify whether they are exploitable and generate fix patches. It ranked first in all three corresponding tests, with scores of 88.2%, 54.8% and 71.0% respectively. According to Yu Jin Monitoring, HyperLabs, the development team of Hyperliquid, filed a request to redeem 179,706 HYPE tokens from staking roughly 10 hours ago, worth approximately $14.49 million. Under staking withdrawal rules, this batch of HYPE is expected to be credited on the evening of November 4, around 7 days from now. Yu Jin pointed out that the redemption path follows the same process as the team’s prior token unlocks: after exiting staking, HYPE will first be allocated to team members, then traded over-the-counter (OTC) via market maker/institutional trading platform Flowdesk. Decentralized liquid staking protocol Diva Staking announced in a social media post that it will shut down the project and will not launch its mainnet. The team stated the decision was reached after thorough discussions, and apologized to users who deposited in its Early Staker Vaults; related funds can now be withdrawn via Enzyme with no further waiting. Since running out of funds in mid-2024, the three-person team has operated without income or compensation for roughly two and a half years. While they believed Ethereum needed a staking solution where validator keys are not controlled by a small number of centralized entities, they are no longer able to continue development. Diva launched on the Hoodi testnet earlier this summer, running stably for about four months without incidents. However, the project failed to secure support from large institutional backers for mainnet launch, and the small three-person team cannot cover the costs of a new audit and mainnet operation and maintenance. The official emphasized prioritizing security, opting for an honest wind-down rather than risking a problematic mainnet launch. The announcement also cited shifts in market conditions: the demand structure for liquid staking tokens (LSTs) has changed since the Shanghai upgrade. As of the end of June this year, BitMine, Coinbase, and Binance together hold approximately 30% of all staked ETH (11.5%, 10.9%, and 7.9% respectively), a concentration level comparable to the market’s earlier concerns when Lido’s share neared one-third. The team also congratulated Lido on advancing its Simple DVT framework and opening it to independent stakers.
